For an introduction to the poetry of Kenneth Koch I have written one of the few full academic articles on the poetry of Kenneth Koch, published in the online journal EnterText. It looks at a variety of Koch's major early poems in relation to thier use of procedural poetic techniques and repetition. In particular it uses Koch's own poetics statements, the work of linguistic analysis of repetition in poetry for example Leech, and Deleuze's Difference and Repetition, one of the most profound considerations of repetition that we have. It also talks a lot about Bras and repeating black over and over.
