For a poetry of small words strung together in such a way as to produce a confounding, rhythmical music of the non-referential vocabulary our speech excells in check out the rambunctiously named Gregory St. Thomasino (real name Greg Thomas?) at TurntableBlueLight.
This caught my eye from "The Blue Bedroom"
"is what is to ought or is or in or all
or
any given end,"
And this from "Sic Vita"
"in a now or in a not
each so is once, to say
or was
when such are only so
and ever so"
Reminds me a little of the spirit of Stein's Stanzas in Meditation and a poetics of small words is something I have tried in a series of poems called Moths, some of which appeared in Shearsman some time ago.
